Welcome to the homestead - Fall Edition!

Today I have two new wonderful recipes, how to save cucumber seeds, and chasing the fall colors. It's been beautiful here in Northern Michigan watching the colors fade from green to brilliant reds & oranges.

Before the snow flies it's time we get the garden wrapped up and garlic planted. I tend to procrastinate this time of year because it's like saying good bye to a friend- I just don't want the summer days with all it's warmth and sunshine to go just yet. But alas time needs to move on doesn't it?

As for being inside more I've been able to get on the computer more and get on the website two new recipes that are scrumptious!!
