Old Fashioned Ways in a Modern World

Hi Proodies!
I just came up with that name, boy am I good huh? :)

We've been knee deep, no bum deep, no elbow deep in snow. Legit, we have had 5 feet of snow in the past week or so. Yes, 5 FEET!! We were sorely lacking the white stuff last year so I guess it's time to make up for it. It's sure pretty... that first day...the second day... but not so much anymore. On the homestead 5 feet of snow (or even 1 foot) can make things tricky. There's so much snow to plow or shovel away from everything. The animals are wondering what the stink happened to their rootin' and tootin' area. I'm wondering the same thing to.

But good thing those seed catalogs are already coming in to brighten my day. I'll be dreaming of seed packets and dirt but until then a new recipe for you and an awesome opportunity to join my NEW Junior Cooking Club!! ​
